The awfulness of what I've done

                                                                              I didn't want to hurt you, but

                                        After all, it's not like we were
                                        In love. Honestly, did you think
                                        I would settle down with you when
                                        You deserve much better than me?

So please, move on and just let be
Dry your tears, White-Out all yours scars
Completely accept the fact that
You deserve much better than me!

This is a Kyrielle, a type of French poem for CW. It was fun writing. We had to take a line from something ( a song, like I did from Hinder's "Better than Me") and use it for the last line of each stanza. Hope ya like. It was from the point of view of my ex... what I wanted him to say to me.

Well, to be fair, I've heard two of their songs. "Lips of an Angel," which is about a guy talking to his ex about getting back together behind his gf's back, and "Get Stoned," which is about solving your problems by doing drugs because, and I quote, "The sex is better when your mad." THAT'S why I don't like Hinder. And I don't like HXC because I'm a lyrics guy, and I can't understand what's going on in all that screaming.

lol yeah, I'm not a big fan of "Lips of an Angel"... I don't believe in cheating. And yeah, Get Stoned is pretty bad. The main one I like (and the only reason I like Hinder) is "Better than Me". No sex, no drugs... my perfect song! lol. I like lyrics a lot, but I like the actual music more... that's why I love Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd... they were great musicians. And I love the guitar part for HxC. lol. Yeah, screamo's hard to get sometimes... but I like it because it helps me relieve tension. lol.

I HATE Hinder because their music's so catchy, but the lyrics are generally horrible. So when I hear Lips of an Angel, I can't get it out of my head, and then I'm torturing myself with the awful lyrics. Ah, see, I love Pink Floyd and Lynard Skynard, because they've got awesome lyrics AND music. I like a little bit of Led Zeppelin, but...

See, screamo just makes me tense.
